practical learning

 For practical learning my class did some hand sewing. We sew together some headphone bags.  I chose the patterns on the bag because I liked them. The hardest part of sewing was tying off because I didn't know how to do it. The part I enjoyed the most was hand stitching the bag together. I am very proud of my head phone bag!!

Making paper

All the year six students in room 15 went on a bus to a different school for the day. So all the year 5's made recycled paper it was so fun making paper.

I missed school

I missed school during lock down and here are some of the things I missed.  I missed my class mates because they help me with my learning on the chrome book. I missed singing with my class in the morning. I am glad to be back!

Hockey

I love to play hockey and also hockey it is so fun to play. My favorite part about it is when I am playing with the ball.I like to run with the ball (I love to run).I like the way that when I pass the  ball to my buddy she always catches it.

Swimming

Today me and my class went swimming. We were learning to tread water. It was so fun, I love to swim in the pool.

In He Puna Kawenga we did football sessions. I am enjoying the sessions so far.

Term 4

This term Room 15 is going to go on camp.  When we go on camp we will be going to Ocean Spa in Napier.  We will be staying for a night  and I am so so excited.  I have been looking forward to this camp all year.

Over  the last 2 weeks we have  been learning to write simple sentences.  Here are 3:

A Trip To The Gym

                                                                                                                                                                    My class went to the gym.  I had a lot of fun at the gym.  I had to listen a lot at the gym so I knew what to do.  I loved it when I was allowed to jump in the foam pit.  When I was on the big trampoline I felt like I was flying.

My Short Story

A long time ago there was a large dog named Milly. She  lived in a golden kennel. She was very good at playing ball.  One day she went to get the ball but somebody had stollen the ball! What would she do!  She looked around for the ball and then she saw the ball in Lilly’s mouth. So she told Lily that the ball was not her ball so Lilly gave the ball back to Milly. Now Milly could play ball again. Lily stole the ball because the ball’s looked the same.The dog’s are bff’s for ever and Milly could play ball once more.
